Pure motorcycle action: W4 Cup in Schönau starts on July 27th!

On July 27, 2025, the fourth day of the Waldviertel Motocross Cup will take place in Schönau im Mühlkreis, Upper Austria. The organizer, ECC Schönau, has put together an exciting program that attracts both drivers and fans. This weekend there are numerous motocross races and a special enduro race taking place on Saturday July 26th. This makes this event a motorsport highlight in the lower Mühlviertel. The ECC Schönau also provides first-class catering with a giant tent and barbecue on both days.

The club races as well as the MX-Open, MX-2 and OÖ vs. NÖ classes start on Saturday. The junior classes (50/65/85 cc) also have their place in the program. Prominent riders such as enduro specialist Anatol Jack Hofer and defending champion Daniel Hennerbichler provide professional support. The W4 Cup promises to show the first trends for the annual ranking and to attract numerous riders and fans in Schönau, as Motorradreporter reports.

Event details and conditions of participation

The races on Sunday, July 27th will cover the final rounds of the Waldviertel Motocross Cup. When taking part, please note that no entries can be made by email or telephone. Instead, forms are available at the registration office. An important note for all participants is that there is no training opportunity on the track other than regular training before the races. Access to the paddock is only permitted until 10:00 p.m. every day.

Thanks to the support of numerous sponsors and committed volunteers, the ECC Schönau was able to realize this event. Preparations are already in full swing to make this motorsport weekend an unforgettable experience. Further W4 Cup races are planned until the finale in Schrems in October, so the racing season in Upper Austria still has some exciting second events in store.
