In the latest evaluation of the pilot association Cockpit, he took first place at the airport check. This ranking was developed to improve the security standards at German airports and is based on comprehensive evaluations of security systems that aim to avoid flight accidents. As part of this annual review, it is determined how well airports can implement the recommended security standards. Munich Airport, which was previously at the top, now had to be satisfied with second place. Erfurt Airport has made remarkable progress and now takes fourth place.
