On July 9, 2025, a frightening incident occurred in the Göhrenz district of Markranstädt: a 15-year-old teenager set a BMW on fire. The incident occurred around 12:00 p.m. on Albersdorfer Strasse. The resulting damage amounts to around 3,000 euros. The police were called immediately and were able to quickly hunt down the suspect.
After the fire department extinguished the fire, which severely damaged the interior of the vehicle, the police arrived.
