A spectacular theft of a BMW Cabrio 850i XDrive worth around 80,000 euros caused a stir in Leipzig on Wednesday morning. The circumstances of the theft
What is particularly explosive is that the convertible was stolen with the original key. The circumstances under which the perpetrators came into possession of the key are part of the ongoing investigation. The 18-year-old driver, who police say is suspected of having consumed drugs, also did not have a valid driver's license. As part of the investigation, a blood sample was taken. The charges include both theft and driving without a license.
Fortunately, the vehicle was returned to the rightful owner on the same day.
