Mayor Rüdiger Kloth is concerned that the laid federal road could be more difficult to reach for drivers from the affected villages. Many residents commute to work to Wittenberge every day, and local companies are dependent on the crossing of the Elbe. Project details and time frames
The section of the A14 between Seehausen and Wittenberge will have a length of 10.8 kilometers, with the new Elbe bridge measures about 1.1 kilometers. According to Holger Behrmann, the overall project manager of Deges, it will take a year after the first direction of the direction is released for the other side of the bridge. He also makes it clear that there will be no financing problems and that a construction stop is excluded.
The A14 will play a crucial role in the East German motorway network because it closes the largest still existing gap.
