On September 2, 2025, a patrol of the federal police arrested a 50-year-old Czech at the Dresden main station. The man who was sought by the Dresden public prosecutor's office had a prison sentence of 40 days or a fine of 470 euros. During his arrest, the officials discovered new items worth around 200 euros, including cigarettes, razors and a sweater. Since he was unable to show any proof of purchase, the products were secured as the stolen goods, and the man was brought to the Dresden correctional facility to serve his prison sentence.
A day later, on September 3, 2025, a 63-year-old German was arrested at Dresden Airport. He also had a tender for arrest due to fraud. The judicial demonstration confirmed the security custody, and this man was also admitted to the Dresden prison.
