On June 23, 2025, an important game in amateur football took place, which decided the promotion of Turkish SV Singen to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. In a thrilling second leg against FC Holzhausen, Singen triumphed 5-1 after losing the first leg 2-0. On this hot day, with temperatures of 34 degrees, a total of around 1,500 spectators came to the grounds to watch the decisive duel.
The Turkish SV Singen moved into the second promotion round after 1. FC Bruchsal and 1. FC Mühlhausen decided not to take part. This constellation allowed Singen to play directly, which was a decisive advantage for the team. An exciting second leg

Volkan Bak increased the score to 3-0 in the 66th minute, which further fueled the mood in the ranks of the Singen supporters. Despite some hopes for Holzhausen in the meantime, including a goal from Vladan Djermanovic in the 89th minute, the game was already decided in favor of Turkish SV. Alieu Sarr converted a penalty kick in stoppage time to bring the score to 4-1, before Abdoulie M'Boob struck again to make the final score 5-1.
However, the game took an intense turn when Jonas Zimmermann was shown the red card in the 114th minute and Singen had to continue playing while outnumbered. However, this situation only seemed to increase the team's fighting ambitions. Despite the sending off, Turkish SV Singen secured deserved promotion, while the Holzhausen players naturally mourned the setback.

Turkish SV Singen's promotion to the Oberliga was seen as the defining moment for the club. According to Schwarzwälder Bote one could say that FC 08 Villingen played a significant role in Singen's rise, because without their influence the path to the top league would certainly have been more difficult for the team. Singen celebrated promotion with a state of emergency that was no longer thought possible - the city was in a celebratory mood and the players were finally able to properly celebrate their successes.
