On June 14, 2025, the federal police discovered a total of ten people who had entered the country illegally in Ostritz after receiving tips from citizens. At 3:05 a.m., five Somali men between the ages of 21 and 26 were checked without documents at a bus stop on the B 99. After completing the necessary measures, they were returned to Poland.
During this check, the patrol received reports from drivers about two other men who were on foot towards Hirschfelde. The officers immediately set off and eventually discovered two 19-year-old Moroccans, also without papers. These findings highlight the ongoing challenges in dealing with illegal entry.
