Smuggler arrested in Cottbus train station – investigations underway!
In a spectacular operation, the Forst Federal Police Inspectorate arrested an Afghan smuggler (18) in the Cottbus train station yesterday afternoon! The young man was on a train on the way from Görlitz to Cottbus, accompanied by two other Afghans, aged 17 and 28, who were illegally smuggled into Germany.
The two companions have now been sent back to Poland. Initial investigations have shown that the people trafficked have close connections to each other, which was confirmed during a search of the 18-year-old's house on Tuesday evening. The federal police are staying on the ball!
