An alcoholic cyclist (40) fell on Einsteinstrasse and suffered serious injuries after drinking more than 3 per thousand alcohol.

A 40-year-old cyclist was seriously injured in an accident on Einsteinstrasse. The drunk man was walking on the footpath towards Zehistaer Straße when he unexpectedly fell. He sustained serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital. The material damage amounts to around 50 euros.
A breath alcohol test showed an alarming 3 per mille - the police immediately initiated a blood sample and are now investigating the German cyclist for drunk driving. The incident once again highlights the dangers of drinking alcohol while driving.
