On August 20, 2025, around 4:00 a.m., a federal police patrol on Autobahn 4 near Görlitz made a surprising find. They stopped a 32-year-old man from Poland who was sought because of an arrest warrant. The man had recently entered Poland and was stopped in the Neiße / North parking lot.
The reason for the arrest warrant? A conviction for drunkenness at the wheel, which was punished with a fine of EUR 2,401.56. But the pole had the money ready and was therefore able to avert a replacement of 15 days. As a result, he remained at large - luck for him, but another case for the federal police!
