The federal police are looking for witnesses to a theft on the railway site in Plauen, in which tools worth 75,000 euros were stolen.

On Monday morning, around 7:20 a.m., several thefts were reported to the federal police in Plauen. Railway employees discovered that numerous power tools worth around 75,000 euros had been stolen. Thieves targeted two small trucks and three construction site containers that had been broken into.
A total of 48 high-quality tools are missing, including drills, cut-off machines, chainsaws and mobile power generators, all products from well-known manufacturers. The federal police suspect that several perpetrators were at work and are investigating gang theft. Witnesses who can provide information on solving the crime are asked to contact the inspection in Klingenthal.
