Alcohol alarm at Leipzig Airport: Traveler flies out after trouble!
A holiday in danger! A drunk passenger had to be thrown off a plane at Leipzig/Halle Airport after his aggressive behavior alerted the crew. The 42-year-old German, who was traveling to Hurghada in Egypt with his mother, made the pilot pull the emergency brake. His breath alcohol test showed a shocking 1.8 per mille – a clear case of “one drink too many”!
The Leipzig Federal Police cannot relax and have already initiated investigations against the man for resisting law enforcement officers and have initiated administrative offense proceedings under the Aviation Security Act. The airline could also be left with the costs for the canceled flight. Don't let yourself be blinded by a cheerful mood for your holiday - such an incident can be extremely expensive!
