Leipzig's coffee hit parade: Cavatina wins with delicious cold brew!
A real coffee war is currently taking place in Leipzig. The latest LVZ survey on “Leipzig’s best coffee specialties” revealed Cavatina Coffee and Bar as the winner. With 20.3% of the vote, the cafe, which opened on May 16, took its place at the top. Operators Christian Pfeiffer and Alex Schmoll have managed to win the hearts of coffee lovers, especially with their cold brew and the popular espresso martini. The survey was promoted via social networks, which contributed to high participation and widespread feedback. LVZ reports.
The MEGS Café in Plagwitz came in second with 19.7%. Mechthild Rommelspacher, who runs the café, attaches particular importance to ensuring that all guests feel comfortable. Their cappuccino with oat milk is very popular. Despite the competition, the two cafés can celebrate their success, while the Franz Morish coffee roastery held its own in third place with 15.2% of the votes.

The Franz Morish coffee roastery, which is run by Tom Geißler, not only offers an extensive selection of coffee beans, but also roasts them directly in the café.
