A welcome update for the fan community: Filming for the eighth season of “Veterinarian Dr. Mertens” has already begun after a possible end to the series had previously been announced. Zoo director Prof. Jörg Junhold is proud of the continuation of the series, which continues 20 years after filming for the pilot film began. This decision was made after the success of last season became apparent.
