Robbie Williams delights 40,000 fans in Leipzig's Red Bull Arena!

On Wednesday evening, July 10, 2025, a spectacular concert by Robbie Williams took place in Leipzig's Red Bull Arena. Around 40,000 fans experienced an unforgettable evening in which Williams opened with his current single “Rocket”. The atmosphere in the almost sold-out stadium was enthusiastic, while the cheering fans sang along loudly and charged the atmosphere with their energy. The anticipation for the concert was clearly noticeable and drove visitors to the arena in droves.

Special precautions were taken to ensure the concert ran smoothly. A restricted area was set up in the adjacent Waldstrasse district, which was valid from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Residents could only enter the area at two locks, the corner of Goyastrasse and Waldstrasse and the Sportforum. This should make it easier for concert goers and local residents to arrive and depart.

Logistical challenges and security measures

Concert goers who arrived by train had to expect restrictions after the performance, as the City Tunnel was closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for maintenance work. In order to still be mobile, the concert tickets entitle you to use local public transport in tariff zone 110 for four hours before and after the concert. However, it was necessary to book a free combination ticket in advance; Ticket buyers received a separate email from Eventim with detailed information.

The weather on the day of the concert was changeable and mostly cloudy, but the forecast was favorable as no rain was expected for the visitors. Temperatures reached a maximum of 20 degrees and dropped in the evening, creating a pleasant atmosphere to fully enjoy the musical performances.

With Robbie Williams on stage and an audience that certainly didn't take anything away from it, the concert was an unforgettable experience in Leipzig that will go down in the fans' memories. The evening was not only a musical highlight, but also a festive event that brought the city and its citizens together. The event once again set a high standard for concert experiences in the region.
