Adventure in the Lindenau Museum: Exciting holiday courses for children!

In the coming days, young discoverers can look forward to exciting offers in Altenburger Land. On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, a series of creative workshops and courses start to appeal to children from the first class.

The events take place in two central locations: the Lindenau Museum and the Altenburg Residence Castle. At a day course in the Lindenau Museum it says "The sea is wide, the sea is blue!" Under the direction of Karin Pietschmann. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., children from the age of 7 can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of the sea. The "Sternen Himmel Windpiel" course, which also takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the same museum, also ensures creative craft lessons.

On the same day, the Residenzschloss offers a map maker workshop called "from ASS to Joker", which is aimed at children from 6 years. This event takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and does not require prior registration. Here the little participants can design their own playing cards.

A comprehensive offer awaits the children in the period from 9 to 11 July 2025, when the 3-day course "layer by layer" is held in the Lindenau Museum. Under the guidance of Lena wrote, children from the age of 7 can let off steam.
