Dennis May becomes creative head for Leo Constellation in EMEA!

Dennis May has been appointed Chief Creative Officer (CCO) for Leo Constellation in EMEA. This newly created role is intended to promote synergies and networking between the various Leo Constellation agencies in the region. The appointment is effective immediately and Dennis will work closely with Marco Venturelli, Leo's Co-President and Chief Creative Officer. LBB Online reports that The main goal of this new position is to further improve the creative product for international clients and projects. In addition, Dennis will continue to be responsible for Publicis Groupe DACH as CCO.

Marco Venturelli praises Dennis May as a remarkable creative talent who has excellent strategic thinking. Dennis himself described working with the team as an honor and expressed his excitement about future developments at Leo. He will be supported in his new role by a strong team, including the award-winning Chief Creative Officers Luitgard Hagl and Kristine Holzhausen.

Backward integration and international award

In his role for Publicis Groupe DACH, Dennis May oversees the creative direction of all agencies in the region, including Leo Germany and Saatchi & Saatchi Germany. The creative head is also responsible for several international “Power of One” clients located in Publicis Groupe DACH. Interestingly, Publicis Groupe Deutschland was named Agency of the Year 2022 by WuV, while Dennis won numerous major industry awards under his creative leadership, including Gold Lions at Cannes as well as Grands Prix at Clio and Eurobest.

Dennis May joined Publicis Groupe in 2021 after previously being Chief Creative Officer at DDB Germany. He was also named Agency Personality of the Year by Horizont in 2019. His contribution to the industry is undeniable, as he not only leads creatively but also serves as a judge in major international competitions such as Cannes Lions and The One Show.
