Cineplex Leipzig: Donation for circus project ceremoniously handed over!

On March 15, 2025, a film poster fair organized by Cineplex Leipzig took place in the Allee-Center Leipzig. This event was not only a platform for film fans, but also a valuable contribution to supporting social projects in the region. The fundraising campaign raised a total of 1,260 euros, which will benefit the Martinstift circus project, a home for people with disabilities. On June 12, 2025, Heiko Fischer, Cineplex's marketing manager, handed over the symbolic donation check to Törsten Höse, the Martinstift's residential manager.

The film poster exchange is part of a long tradition of events that Cineplex Leipzig organizes together with the Allee-Center. Since 2014, these campaigns have raised almost 15,000 euros, which have benefited various Grünau and Leipzig clubs. Clubs can now apply to Cineplex Leipzig for the next exchange, which is scheduled for November 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m.

Commitment to the community

The good cause behind the film poster exchanges goes far beyond supporting the Martinstift. At another event in the Allee Center, the proceeds will also be donated to a good cause. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the “Fröbel” kindergarten “Am Kulkwitzer See”, which is collecting donations for a new climbing ship. At the events, visitors can purchase posters, standees and banners, although no fixed price is charged. Instead, donations are requested to support the respective projects. In the past, 8,600 euros have already been raised for Leipzig clubs and projects, as lvz.de reports.

The next exciting event that will take place as part of the Martinstift circus project is the anniversary show “20 Years of Circus Mampfini Bombastico”, which is planned for June 14, 2025. This will further promote cultural support in the region and make an important contribution to the quality of life of the residents.
