Cineplex Leipzig: Hand over donation for circus project!

On March 15, 2025, a film poster exchange took place in the Allee-Center Leipzig, which was organized by Cineplex Leipzig. This event was not only a platform for film fans, but also a valuable contribution to supporting social projects in the region. In the fundraising campaign, a total of 1,260 euros came together, which will benefit the circus project of the Martinstift, a home for people with disabilities. On June 12, 2025, Heiko Fischer, responsible for marketing by Cineplex, handed over the symbolic donation check to Törsten Höse, the home manager of Martinstift.

The film poster exchange is in a long tradition of events that Cineplex Leipzig organizes together with the avenue center. Almost 15,000 euros have been collected by these actions since 2014, which have benefited various Grünauer and Leipzig associations. For the next stock exchange, which is planned for November 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m., clubs can now apply to the Leipzig Cineplex.

The good thing behind the film poster exchanges extends far beyond the support of the Martin Abbey. At another event in the Allee Center of the proceeds, a good cause will also be added. Part of the income is donated to the "Froebel" kindergarten "Am Kulkwitz See", which collects donations for a new climbing ship. Visitors can purchase posters, displays and banner at the events, whereby no fixed price is required. Instead, donations are asked to support the respective projects. In the past, 8,600 euros have already come to Leipzig clubs and projects, such as lvz.de reported.

The next exciting event, which will take place as part of the circus project of the Martin Abbey, is the anniversary show "20 Years of Circus Mampfini Bombastico", which is planned for June 14, 2025. This further promotes cultural funding in the region and an important contribution to the quality of life of the residents.
