The train from Dresden to Zittau took a dramatic turn on October 15, 2025, when the train attendant informed the Ebersbach Federal Police at 8:05 p.m. that a missing, elderly woman had been spotted on the train. The woman had disappeared from a facility in Dresden since 1:30 p.m. and was in urgent need of medication.
Since there was no patrol available in Bischofswerda,
agreed that the train attendant would take the woman to Ebersbach/Sa station. transported and handed them over to the police. At 11 p.m., relief finally came: the missing woman was safely handed over to an employee of the facility and was able to return safely to their care.
