Vacation dream burnt: Federal police find money from traveler!
Early in the morning at 4:30 a.m. there was a remarkable incident during exit controls at Leipzig/Halle Airport. The vigilance of the federal police put a 49-year-old German woman in an unpleasant position. During the inspection, it was discovered that she did not properly declare a significant sum of 30,000 euros.
The woman wanted to travel to Turkey with the money, but had to adjust her travel plans: she paid off her debts and had to leave the airport with a significantly lighter wallet. The federal police were once again on guard and reminded travelers to adhere to the legal regulations.
