In the early hours of the morning, at 3:20 a.m., a spectacular incident occurred at Dresden Central Station. The federal police were alerted after a witness observed a robbery and assault in the domed hall. When officers arrived, they found two men involved in a heated argument.
The investigation led to the identification of a 30-year-old Polish citizen as the suspected perpetrator, while the 39-year-old victim, a Turkish national, was injured. Due to the seriousness of the crime, the federal police have initiated criminal proceedings for robbery and theft. The Saxony police are now taking over the further investigation and will intensively pursue the case until it is clarified.
