In the last 24 hours, the fire and rescue services in Dresden have recorded a dramatic increase in operations - a new record with 314 alarms! There has never been a day with so many emergencies as often as this year. In addition, emergency doctors were deployed in 83 cases, while the Christoph 38 rescue helicopter was deployed four times. Intensive care transfers and 178 qualified patient transports were also carried out.
This unexpected crisis has no apparent cause. This makes the presence of the fire brigade on the blue light mile at the Saxon State Parliament all the more important, where candidate fire chiefs are available with a fire engine to answer questions and entertain the little visitors with craft sheets. The fire department will remain on site until Sunday!
