An 18-year-old German from Löbau discovered on Saturday morning that cannabis flowers had become his downfall. When he entered Germany via the Görlitz city bridge, federal police discovered the drugs that the young man had hidden in his jacket pocket. The officers originally became aware of him because his federal identity card was wanted.
The situation escalated when he began to nervously contradict himself while answering questions about his ID. As a result, he was reported on suspicion of violating the Consumer Cannabis Act. Another shock for the young man: the police are now also keeping an eye on his drug offenses!
