Federal Police Ebersbach: Arresting warrants enforced again and secured money!

In the context of intensive border controls, the federal police officers in Ebersbach enforced several arrest warrants on Pentecost weekends and at the same time took more than 5,000 euros. On June 7, 2025, a 23-year-old Czech was arrested in Seifhennersdorf who was sought by the Görlitz public prosecutor for theft and property damage. There was an arrest warrant against him, and the officials handed him over to the state police.

Two days later, on the night of June 10, 2025, the police checked a 50-year-old Czech on the B 178N. The man was sought because of a violation of the Narcotics Act. A surprise followed: his work colleague jumped in and paid an open fine of 1,081 euros, so that the man could leave the office as a freelance citizen.
