Ebersbach Federal Police: Arrest warrants executed again and money seized!
As part of intensive border controls, the federal police in Ebersbach executed several arrest warrants last Pentecost weekend and collected more than 5,000 euros at the same time. On June 7, 2025, a 23-year-old Czech man who was wanted by the Görlitz public prosecutor's office for theft and property damage was arrested in Seifhennersdorf. There was an arrest warrant against him and the officers handed him over to the state police.
Two days later, on the night of June 10, 2025, the police checked a 50-year-old Czech man on the B 178n. The man was wanted for a violation of the narcotics law. A surprise followed: His work colleague stepped in and paid an open fine of 1,081 euros so that the man could leave the office as a free citizen.
