On the night of Wednesday, a 19-year-old driver crashed with his VW Golf against the walls of the Vienna Platz-Tunnel. The young driver, who was under drug influence, came from Wiener Strasse and lost control of his vehicle after touching a curb. The collision was violent: the Golf crashed into a traffic sign and both the rights and the left -wing tunnel wall.
Fortunately, the driver was unharmed, but the damage added up to around 20,000 euros. A drug test showed that the man had consumed cannabis and the police had a blood sample carried out.
