Mysterious break-in in Gerolsheim restaurant: witnesses wanted!
On the night of June 15th to June 16th, 2025, there was a break-in at a restaurant in Gerolsheim, which is located in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. The crime took place between 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., with the unknown perpetrators forcing their way into the building and causing considerable damage. Loud MRN News Cash was stolen and several bottles of high-quality alcohol, various catering kitchen appliances and a flat-screen TV were stolen. What is particularly noticeable is that a pizza oven was allegedly damaged while trying to remove it. The total damage amounts to a five-figure amount.
The Grünstadt police station has started the investigation and is asking the public for help. Witnesses are asked to report relevant information by calling 06359 9312-0 or by email to pigruenstadt@polizei.rlp.de. Solving burglaries is a high priority for the police, especially in times when the catering industry is facing challenges.
