Music festival in Unterstein: A sensory experience for the community!

Schönau, Deutschland - On Saturday, July 8, 2025, a very special concert took place in the small church in Unterstein, which of the Dr. Heinz and Maria Loewe Stiftung were held. The aim of the event was to celebrate the musical diversity and at the same time to devote the worthy commemoration. The parish association Ramsau-Unterstein supported the event that was a gift to the community.

The evening started with an impressive work by Johann Sebastian Bach and offered visitors an experience from the start that appealed to all the senses. In particular, the impressive large organ of the church played a central role in bringing the deep sounds and the emotional depth of music into its own.

The Dr. Heinz and Maria Loewe Foundation is known for their commitment in the region, especially in the field of culture and education. In addition to concert events, the foundation also promotes the summer holiday program in the Berchtesgaden National Park under the motto "Bunte Diversity". Here children and adolescents from 6 to 16 years of age can experience nature and carry out many exciting activities such as milking or building insect hotels.

The foundation also supports the acquisition of a new e-piano for the Christuskirche Berchtesgaden, which is used for both services and for concerts. These efforts reflect on the endeavors of the foundation to promote art, culture, nature conservation and social projects in the region. In 2019, the foundation provided more than 35,000 euros for various projects and has supported numerous cultural initiatives since its foundation in 2012.

The foundation regularly organizes concerts and events in which talented young musicians, as the excellent violinist Sophia Nussbichler, can be seen. In addition, further performances are planned, such as Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elias", which is to be presented in November in Berchtesgaden and Salzburg.
