Musical world tour: Ensemble MeHaR impresses on October 25th in Schönau!
On October 25, 2025, visitors to the EWS cultural hall in Schönau can expect a very special musical experience. As part of the tenth edition of the Wiesentäler Kulturwochen, this is presented Black Forest messenger the concert by the ensemble “MeHaR” with the title “Musique du Monde”. The concert starts at 8 p.m., admission opens one hour before, at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through Reservix and remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office.
The MeHaR ensemble is made up of talented musicians who come from different regions and have diverse musical backgrounds. Max Zentawer, a guitarist from Freiburg, heads the Freiburg Guitar Institute and is known for his solo and modern jazz projects. Thomas Klauer from Blumberg, former bassist for “The Brothers”, provides additional sonority along with his singing skills.
Diverse musical program
The concert promises an exciting mix of quiet, loud, happy and melancholic pieces, performed in Spanish, French, English and German as well as instrumental. Holger Rhon, an experienced saxophonist with over three decades of stage presence, complements the group with his musical experience. Together with Katrin Braun, an experienced music teacher from Basel, and Carolina Bruck-Santos, a German-Mexican who studied singing in Würzburg and Freiburg, the ensemble brings a variety of sounds and styles to the stage.

The name “MeHaR” has its roots in India and Pakistan and stands for qualities such as goodness, friendliness and love, which underlines the ensemble's aim to build bridges and connect hearts through music. This unique event promises not only entertaining but also profound musical experiences.
