District Music Festival 2025: Festive sounds and exciting street activities!
The district music festival in Westallgäu is just around the corner, organized by the Grünenbach music band on the occasion of its 250th anniversary. From Thursday, June 5th to Sunday, June 8th, 2025, both locals and visitors can experience a varied program that will take place in the Schönau district behind the Denklingen cheese dairy. The marquee offers space for around 2,500 guests and consists of a main tent and a bar tent, so that everyone can comfortably attend the celebrations.
The festival kicks off on Thursday evening with a traditional beer tapping at 7 p.m., followed by a unique foam party with the Allgäu Feager at 9 p.m. Friday promises exciting entertainment with a star march at 6 p.m. and an atmospheric evening with bands from Gestratz, Missen and Oberreute. The country-pop-rock band “Dirt Road” will perform in the bar at 11 p.m. and will further heat up the atmosphere.

The evening is all about party music, with “Hofenbrass” providing the necessary atmosphere at 7 p.m. At 9.30 p.m. the band “Muckasäck” will continue to delight festival visitors.
A festive Sunday service at 9 a.m. will begin the last day of the district music festival. Afterwards there will be a morning pint at 10:30 a.m., followed by a full choir at 1 p.m. and the parade at 1:30 p.m. The weekend ends with a final party evening with “Solid Age” with good music at 6 p.m.
