On November 4th, 2025, a traffic accident occurred on the L52 between Küsel and Waldrogäsen at 6:12 a.m. A 43-year-old driver was driving towards Küsel when a deer crossed the road. Despite emergency braking, the collision could not be prevented. Both airbags in the vehicle deployed and the driver suffered neck pain, which is why he sought medical attention on his own.
The deer died at the scene of the accident and the hunting manager was informed immediately. The vehicle damage was significant, requiring a towing service.
Speed controls
