On Friday morning, June 20, 2025, the emergency services in Leipzig-Lößnig were called to a fire on Hans-Otto-Straße. At around 10 a.m., a fire broke out in the attic of an eleven-story high-rise building, resulting in heavy smoke. The fire brigade, police and rescue service were immediately on site to assess the situation and take action.
