Aircraft model construction: creative shygalon to young and old in Altenburg!
In the first week of July 2025, a workshop for the construction of aircraft models is offered in the Studioleonardo of the Lindenau Museum Altenburg. This creative possibility is aimed at children and adults between the ages of 6 and 99 and takes place on dates 5, 12, 26 July and August 2. The aim of the event is not only to bring the participants closer to the basics of the model building, but also to give them the chance to decorate their own wooden aircraft individual. The model sports club Altenburger Land e. V. works closely with the museum to realize the event. According to LVZ.de, the participants should visit at least two appointments to complete their model until the baptism of fire.
The sessions in the studio stardard last from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. With a participation fee of EUR 8 per person, interested parties can further develop their flight skills and learn a lot. The art of building aircraft models not only promotes creativity, but also technical understanding and patience. fire baptism at the model airfield
A highlight of the workshop series takes place on August 16, 2025, when the models built are first let up in the air for the first time at a fire baptism in the model airfield in Prehna. Here the workshop participants have the opportunity to present their creations to the general public and to experience how well the self-made aircraft fly. This represents an exciting final of the event.
The workshop for the construction of the aircraft not only offers the opportunity to discover a new hobby area, but also enables the exchange between like -minded people. It is an excellent way for families to become creative together and to promote manual skills. At a time when digital media dominate, such a practical workshop is a valuable contribution to leisure activities in the region. Further information on the workshops and registration can be found on the museum website: LVZ.de and Abg-net.de .
