Discover creative courses in the Lindenau Museum: registration from September!

The Lindenau Museum Altenburg is preparing for an exciting new half-year, full of creative opportunities for children, young people and adults. An extensive course program will start from the beginning of September 2025 and will appeal to participants of all age groups. The courses run until February 2026 and offer space for a wide range of artistic techniques and forms of expression. As abg-net reports, there are still free places available in some areas, especially in the GRAFIKstudio, ATELIER im studio and studioLEONARDO.

Under the guidance of experienced artists and professionals, course participants can learn techniques such as linocut printing and wood design. Registrations are possible both by telephone on 03447 8955-430/-450 and by email to studio@altenburger-museen.de.

Expansion of the course program

As the Lindenau Museum website reports, not only new courses but also new lecturers were acquired, including Manuela Büchting, Julia Ehrhardt, Jacqueline Glück, Doreen Kaiser, Nora Frohmann and Angelika Forster. This reinforcement will expand and enrich the museum's creative offering.

The new buildings as part of the federal Lindenau21PLUS program, such as the studioLEONARDO (wood workshop) and the studioDIGITAL (media workshop), also provide new creative spaces. These new studios will provide a variety of offerings, from pottery to printing techniques to drawing and textile projects.

For the youngest, there is a special children's art workshop with the opening of studioBAMBINI, which has been open for two to five year olds since September 19, 2022. The newly structured course offerings for children and young people show that the Lindenau Museum always strives to promote creative development and artistic education in the region.
