Philipp Wendt fouled in the penalty area and Andy Trübenbach didn't miss the chance and converted the score to 1-0 for the guests. Just twelve minutes later, Trübenbach made it 2-0, with Florian Hansch giving him the perfect assist. Chemie Leipzig had great difficulty creating their own chances and remained almost harmless in attack.
