Leipzig is looking for young talents: Become a compare for ARD and RTL!
in Leipzig is currently offered an exciting opportunity for all those who want to stand in front of the camera. Compars are sought for the ARD series “Objection, Schatz” and the RTL series “The Teacher”. The filming is planned for the period from August to November 2023 and offer the opportunity to take part in one to three days of shooting. This is an excellent way for amateur actors to gain experience, even if no prior film experience is required.
The tender is aimed at people of all nationalities and genders aged 6 to 75, with a special focus on young adults between the ages of 16 and 22. The extras will primarily represent pupils, which makes this opportunity particularly interesting for young people. Payment for extras is at least 130 euros per day, with additional surcharges for costume samples, haircuts, overtime or night shooting.
Registration and free mediation
Interested parties can register with their data and photos directly on the website of the agency. Registration and placement for filming are also free of charge. This development comes in time because there are currently no photo dates available in the office. Since January 2025, the minimum wage is 12.82 euros per hour, which offers fair remuneration for most extras. Among other things, filming for “Next exit luck” in Eisenach and the surrounding area will take place from the beginning of July 2025. “2 women for all skins” will also be produced in Leipzig, Halle and Naumburg from April to July 2025. In addition, filming for "Police Call 110" in Halle and the surrounding area is planned in June and July 2025.
A particularly exciting project is a children's cinema film that will be shot in Leipzig in July and August 2025. For this, children from the age of 10 are sought, both from the Caucasian and the POC community, which are to be considered for school roles. This large number of projects show the continuing interest in locations in the region and the opportunities for talented amateur actors.
