Kevin Elsner sets new standards in the district league A with 24 goals!

The football district league A in the Lemgo area has ended its 2024/25 season, and there were remarkable performances on the pitch. Kevin Elsner from SC Extertal has once again established himself as the top goalscorer, scoring an impressive 24 goals this season. This reports News Go. Konrad Marca (TuS Helpup) and Viktor Rogalski (TSG Holzhausen-Sylbach) followed him in second place with 18 goals each.

What was particularly noticeable was the offensive strength of TuS Brake, which scored the most goals of the season with 85 goals. TuS Leopoldshöhe (70 goals) and Extertal (69 goals) were not far behind. The list of other goal scorers shows the high level of performance: Tino Matijevic (SC Extertal), Jörn Pieper (TuS Brake) and Niklas Rogall (SG Sonneborn/Alverdissen) each netted 16 times, while Ronack Roy Derbas (SC Bad Salzuflen) and Jan Plöger (TuS Leopoldshöhe) made heads turn with 15 goals. This illustrates the exciting and balanced competitiveness in the league.

Successes of the B juniors

While the senior league concluded its season, the B-juniors of TuS Asemissen celebrated another great success. They were able to win the district championship for the third time in a row NW.de reported. Coach Ralf Westerheide's team shone with a record of 13 wins and one draw in 14 league games, with an impressive goal difference of 83:9. In the second half of the season, the team did not concede a single goal.

The B juniors prevailed vehemently in the league against runner-up TBV Lemgo II, whom they defeated both 6:1 and 4:0. Now the promotion relegation to the district league is coming up. The first game will take place on June 24th against TuS Heidenoldedorf, the Detmold district champions. The following week the team will play against SV Höxter, who are champions of the Höxter football district.

Unity as the key to success

Coach Ralf Westerheide emphasizes that the team is stronger this year than in previous years. Almost 30 players are available, which made it possible to register a second B youth team. The failures in the B1 were compensated for by talented players from the B2. Team unity is seen as one of the best prerequisites for the upcoming relegation games.

This season impressively shows the dynamism and competitive spirit in local football. For both the seniors and the juniors, the signs point to success and team spirit.
