Heuberg-Cup: Binsdorf and Gruol/Erlaheim celebrate clear victories!
The Kleine Heuberg Cup started on July 17, 2025 and right from the start the SpVgg Binsdorf convinced with a 2-1 win against SG Vöhringen. In this exciting opening game, Matthias Zehnder made his debut as a coach of Binsdorf. After 19 minutes, Jens Kinnemann scored 1-0. A free kick by Eldin Bahovic in the 45th minute increased the lead to 2-0 before Belmin Ajdinovic for Vöhringen was able to shorten to 1: 2 in the final minutes, like Black Forest Bote reported.
The SGM Gruol/Erlaheim, defending champion and current district league team, competed against the SGM Rosenfeld/Isingen/Brittheim in parallel. After only 7 minutes, Niklas Stemmer achieved early lead for Gruol/Erlaheim. Maxim Hoffmann, however, only equalized two minutes later. But the answer was not long in coming: Fabio Müller and again Stemmer increased the lead to 3: 1 within just two minutes, before Müller converted a penalty in the 44th minute. The group games of the cup will continue on the coming days, and the decision on the tournament victory is planned for Saturday. The next tournament will take place on July 26th to 28th, 2024. In group A, the groups are the SGM Gruol/Erlaheim, SGM Erzingen/Endingen/Roßwangen as well as SGM Rosenfeld/Brittheim/Isingen. The tournament not only offers exciting games, but also an excellent opportunity for the participating teams to present themselves and discover new talents. The defending champions of Gruol/Erlaheim in particular have shown impressively that they are ready to defend their title and also demonstrate their class in the coming games.
