FC Holzhausen narrowly loses: first test match fiasco against Rottenburg

FC Holzhausen's first test match of the new season took place on July 13, 2025. The opponent was FC Rottenburg, who beat head coach Daniel Seemann's team 2-1. In the first half, FC Rottenburg showed an impressive performance and took a 2-0 lead thanks to two individual errors from Holzhausen.

Despite this increase, Holzhausen missed a penalty that Vladan Djermanovic was unable to convert. In the 79th minute, Flavio Vogt scored the next goal, but it was no longer enough to turn the game around. Daniel Seemann then had to admit that the passing game and the defensive structure still need to be improved.

The next challenge for FC Rottenburg is already on Tuesday, July 15, 2015, when they play in the next test match against the U19s of SSV Reutlingen 1905.
