The LVB is supporting Heiterblick in this phase of uncertainty, while the city of Görlitz, which is also involved in the tram project, is actively holding discussions to find a solution for everyone involved. The Saxon Ministry of Economic Affairs has confirmed Alstom's temporary production stop, but has not announced a final termination of the cooperation, which makes the situation even more complicated.
The Free State of Saxony has a strong interest in maintaining Saxon tram construction. In this critical phase, Heiterblick receives support from the Sächsische Aufbaubank's Consolidation Advisory Center. These measures are crucial to secure the future of the company and thus the jobs of the employees in Leipzig.
