Crisis at cheerful view: Alstom stops production - 250 jobs endangered!

The company is currently in the middle of an economic crisis, which is additionally tightened by the stopping of the car delivery by Alstom. Alstom is a central partner in the production of trams for the cities of Leipzig, Zwickau and Görlitz. The Saxon Ministry of Economic Affairs has confirmed Alstom's preliminary production stop, but has not announced a final end of the collaboration, which makes the situation even more complicated.

The Free State of Saxony has a strong interest in the preservation of Saxon tram construction. In this critical phase, cheerful views from the Consolidation of the Saxon Building Council receives support from the advisory center. These measures are crucial to secure the future of the company and thus also the workplaces of the employees in Leipzig.
