On Thursday afternoon, a serious accident occurred in Leipzig-Eutritzsch, in which a 61-year-old e-bike driver was hit by a 38-year-old driver in a small van. According to lvz.de, the incident passed around 12.55 p.m. on Essener Strasse, when the driver wanted to turn right into the Zschortauer Straße. The driver overlooked the e-bike driver with his maneuver, which led to a collision.

The cyclist suffered serious injuries in the accident and was immediately admitted to a hospital. The property damage is estimated at around 700 euros. The police have received an investigation into negligent bodily harm.
