The measuring points can change throughout the day, which makes it particularly important for drivers to always pay attention to the speed limits and the current traffic situation. Traffic violations such as speeding are not only common, but also the main cause of numerous traffic accidents. It is therefore recommended that you strictly adhere to the prescribed speeds.
Legal situation regarding radar warning devices
Another important aspect is the use of radar detectors and speed camera apps. According to Section 23 of the Road Traffic Act, it is legally prohibited to use or carry electronic aids to detect traffic surveillance measures. Smartphone apps should not be actively used while driving. External radar detectors that are operational are a criminal offense and should therefore be avoided.
