On October 23, 2025, at 11:00 p.m., a 34-year-old Ukrainian citizen came to immigration control at the Reitzenhain border crossing. But the joy of his arrival didn't last long: a check by the federal police from Chemnitz revealed that there was an arrest warrant for him. This was issued by the Gera public prosecutor's office for fraud.
The situation is getting worse! The man will be brought before a judge today. What will become of him? The investigation is still in its early stages and the fate of the suspect remains in limbo.
