Wiedermar, Deutschland - yesterday morning there was a terrible traffic accident on Autobahn 9, towards Hermsdorfer Kreuz, which paralyzed the route for several hours. A 76-year-old driver of a motorhome raced on a Mercedes transporter that has been stopped on the hard shoulder for an unknown cause. The old man was seriously injured and was caught in the wreck of his vehicle! The fire brigade had to intervene to free it.

Happiness in misfortune: The 44-year-old driver of the van was not in the vehicle at the time of impact and remained completely intact. A rescue helicopter was used, while the highway remained closed until around 1:00 p.m., which led to considerable traffic jams. The damage caused by property is estimated at around 30,000 euros.
