Smuggling gangs in their sights: Federal police intervene in Bavaria and the Czech Republic!

In the run-up to dramatic investigations, extensive measures were implemented by the federal police and the Dresden public prosecutor's office in Bavaria and the Czech Republic. A suspect was arrested and is accused of having smuggled foreigners into the country on a commercial basis in eight cases - a total of around 30 people are said to have been transported from Hungary via Slovakia to Germany between June and August 2024.

The accused organized the transfers and obtained devilishly false Hungarian visas for his “customers”. The transport was partly carried out in cooperation with a Czech logistics company that was involved in the illegal business. In Germany, the next illegal step often awaited: placing the trafficked people on the labor market.

During searches, the Federal Police seized crucial evidence, including 28,500 euros in cash, laptops, cell phones and other storage media. 75 federal police officers were mobilized for the operation. The investigation continues and promises even more explosive revelations.
