On Saturday morning, June 21, 2025, there was an accident with a cyclist on Hauboldstrasse in the Schlosschemnitz district. A 46-year-old woman was driving in the opposite direction to a 67-year-old Nissan driver who was driving on the one-way street. Despite the permission for cyclists to ride against the direction of travel, the cyclist lost control of her bike due to the narrow conditions and fell. Remarkable: There was no contact with the oncoming vehicle. The cyclist sustained minor injuries, while property damage was estimated at around 50 euros.
