Polish traveler serves arrest warrant at motorway border!
A 35-year-old Polish passenger caused a stir on a coach on the way to Freiburg today when he was detained at the motorway border crossing near Görlitz. The reason? He had debts of 631 euros to the Chemnitz state justice fund, which resulted from a conviction in the Dresden district court for driving without a license.
The federal police addressed the situation and after paying his debts, the man was finally able to continue his journey. The arrest warrant issued by the Dresden public prosecutor's office over two years ago was revoked after the claims were paid. An exciting but ultimately happy end for the traveler!
