On July 8, 2025, a 38-year-old Polish passenger was arrested in Lückedorf by the Upper Lusatia Joint Task Force, consisting of federal and state police officers. When checking his vehicle, the officers discovered that he was wanted by the Potsdam public prosecutor's office and the Polish authorities for serious bodily harm and false imprisonment.
An international arrest warrant had already been issued against him and this was issued to him in the Zittau district court. After the verdict, the wanted man was immediately taken to a correctional facility and is now about to be handed over to the Polish authorities. A spectacular catch for the police!
