Reitzenhain border crossing: Two unlicensed drivers arrested!

Early this morning, the Chemnitz Federal Police Inspectorate carried out a check at the Reitzenhain border crossing. A 32-year-old Romanian who was wanted on the basis of an arrest warrant from the Ulm public prosecutor's office for driving without a license was checked. The man was able to pay the required fine of over 880 euros and continued his journey.

Earlier, yesterday, a 32-year-old Lithuanian man was stopped during a similar check at 1:20 p.m. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant, this time from the Landshut public prosecutor's office, also for driving without a license. The Lithuanian received the required fine of over 2,000 euros and was able to enter the country.
