On Saturday morning at 6:35 a.m., a 42-year-old Romanian was noticed at the Reitzenhain border crossing. During a federal police check, an arrest warrant for drunk driving was discovered. The man paid the required fine of over 500 euros and was able to continue his journey.
That same afternoon, at 3:15 p.m., a 37-year-old Bulgarian woman was checked. She also had an arrest warrant issued by the Mannheim public prosecutor's office for obtaining benefits by fraud. She paid the required 350 euros and was also allowed to continue traveling.
Another case occurred with a 35-year-old Ukrainian who was refused entry to Germany because he could not produce valid residence documents. He was sent back to the Czech Republic.
